The Douglas County office of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency will hold an informational meeting later this month about this year’s FSA county committee election.

The meeting is at 10 a.m. June 20 at the USDA Service Center, 1217 Biltmore Drive. The meeting will address nominations, deadlines and information about the committee. Nominations for the election can begin June 15 and are due Aug. 1. The election will be held Nov. 2 to Dec. 3.

The committee helps administer FSA farm programs, and any agricultural producer of voting age who participates in an FSA program is eligible to vote.
