Ribbon-cutting set for life sciences center
Kansas City, Kan. ? Kansas University leaders this week will celebrate the opening of a 205,000-square-foot research center dedicated to the life sciences.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Kansas Life Sciences Innovation Center will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the center, at the northeast corner of 39th Street and Rainbow Boulevard in Kansas City, Kan.
The $57 million center will house research projects related to liver disease, infertility, obesity, diabetes, brain health and nerve function.
