Head-on collision kills 3 adults, 2 children

? Five people, including two young children, were killed Friday in a head-on collision in Osage County, the Kansas Highway Patrol said.

The accident happened about 1:25 p.m. on Kansas Highway 268, when a van driven by Charles E. Campbell crossed the center line in a no-passing zone and struck another van.

Campbell, 63, of Wellsville, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers, Ramona Ball, 56, and Elijah Ball, 1, both of Ottawa, were also pronounced dead.

The driver of the other van, Rebekah Davidson, 35, of Quenemo, was also killed in the accident, along with 1-year-old Nora Davidson, also of Quenemo. A 5-year-old, Abraham Davidson, was taken to Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka.
