Milford ? A 19-year-old man drowned over Labor Day weekend while swimming with friends at Milford Lake.

The man, who was identified as Taurian M. Williams, may have suffered a cramp around 4:30 p.m. Sunday while in a cove on the state park side of the reservoir, said Geary County Sheriff James Jensen.

The man’s body was found about an hour and a half after he disappeared in about 25 feet of water. Alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the drowning, Jensen said.
