Suspect charged in quadruple homicide

? A 28-year-old man was charged Wednesday with four counts of first-degree murder in last month’s fatal shootings at a Kansas City, Kan., home.

Kenton Marcus Williams was ordered held in the Wyandotte County Jail on $2 million bond, the county prosecutor’s office said.

All four victims were found Oct. 14 by police responding to reports of shots fired. Three were dead at the scene, and the fourth died later at a hospital.

They were later identified as Lawrence Dixon, 45; Constina J. Jones, 39; Marlene Chapple-Johnson, 43; and Tracey L. Montgomery, 42.

Williams was taken into custody Monday after a police chase that began in Kansas City, Kan., and ended in Kansas City, Mo.

In that incident, Williams is accused of pointing a firearm at a Wyandotte County park ranger who interrupted an alleged robbery attempt. Williams faces several related charges.
