Cassoday ? Three people died Saturday when their pickup was hit by a train.

The pickup, carrying three people and two dogs, was at a crossing on a dirt road between El Dorado and Cassoday when it was hit by the train, Butler County Sheriff Craig Murphy said.

The people in the truck and the dogs were all dead when rescue workers arrived, he said.
