An Olathe woman died Tuesday morning on Interstate 35 in Franklin County when her 1999 Ford van rolled over in southbound traffic and was struck by a tractor-trailer, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The woman was identified as 40-year-old Caroline A. Dickens. According to a report, she was not wearing a seat belt.

The wreck happened about 6:55 a.m. near mile marker 192 on I-35. The wreck stopped southbound traffic for much of the morning.

The driver of the 1999 Freightliner tractor-trailer, identified as 40-year-old Mark D. Nichols Jr. of Shawnee, was not injured.
