The next class for Leadership Kansas includes three people who make their living in Lawrence.

John Federico, the program’s executive director, on Thursday announced the names of 40 class members, who will meet monthly from May through October to build leadership skills and learn about issues facing Kansas businesses and government. Among the class members:

¢ Karen Cochran, a teacher and instructional coach at West Junior High School.

¢ Dan Sabatini, a Lawrence architect.

¢ Brett Sayre, director of external affairs for AT&T in Lawrence.

The class is scheduled to meet Oct. 25-27 in Lawrence. Leadership Kansas is a program of the Kansas Chamber of Commerce.
