Police are looking for suspects in the strong-arm robbery of a blind woman last week outside Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

The 44-year-old woman told police she was outside the hospital’s west entrance about 4 p.m. Thursday when she felt a bump. She later realized her fanny pack was missing. She lost $80 cash, identification, a check register and a Social Security card.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen the woman or a possible suspect to call the Lawrence Police Department at 841-7210 or the Crime Stoppers hot line at 843-TIPS.
