Man sentenced to two life terms in homicides
KANSAS CITY, KAN. ? A man whose first trial ended in a hung jury has been sentenced to two consecutive life terms in the shooting deaths of two people.
Wyandotte County District Judge Thomas L. Boeding imposed the sentence Friday against Patrick Angelo Jr. He was convicted in November of two counts of first-degree murder in the February 2004 shooting deaths of Jamie Wilson, 24, and Kevin Brown, 42, both of Kansas City, Kan.
Their bodies were found after someone flagged down police.
A mistrial was declared during Angelo’s first trial in August after jurors were unable to reach a verdict.
