KANSAS CITY, KAN. ? A man walking his dog Thursday in a heavily wooded area stumbled across two bodies.

The dog walker initially thought the foot that had caught his attention belonged to a mannequin. But upon closer inspection he discovered the bodies, both male.

The deaths were being investigated as homicides. But police had few details, including the cause of death. They also did not immediately identify the victims.
