Wichita ? A plane carrying nine passengers made a belly landing Thursday after the wheels wouldn’t descend, authorities said.

No one was hurt during the emergency landing at Wichita Mid-Continent Airport.

The plane, a King Air B200, is registered to a Louisville, Ky., company. It came down with all its landing gear up about 10 a.m., said Valerie Wise, an assistant to the director of the airport.

She said pilots circled the airport for confirmation that the wheels were not down before attempting the landing.
