Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 23-year-old Lawrence woman reported to Lawrence Police that someone stole a laptop valued at $1,500 in the 800 block of Engel Road. The theft happened sometime on Wednesday.

¢ A 27-year-old Lawrence man reported to Lawrence Police a case of aggravated battery that happened Tuesday morning in the 1300 block of West 24th Street. The man was found to be in possession of marijuana, which had no drug tax stamp, and a firearm.
