Possibly contaminated lunches recalled
MARSHALL, MO. ? ConAgra Foods Inc. is recalling more than 9,500 pounds of ready-to-eat lunches because of possible listeria contamination, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Thursday.
The products, made at Con-Agra’s Marshall plant, include 2.6-ounce packages of Armour Lunch Makers Cracker Crunchers cooked ham and turkey lunches, as well as 2.6-ounce and 8-ounce packages of Lunch Makers Bologna Fun Kit, Ham Fun Kit and Turkey Fun Kit.
Each package bears the establishment number “P-9” or “EST. 1059” and a sell-by date of between Feb. 6, 2006, and Feb. 11, 2006.
The products were made between Nov. 18 and Nov. 23 and distributed nationwide.
