EL DORADO — One person was killed late Saturday afternoon when an ultralight aircraft went down in a field southwest of the El Dorado Correctional Facility, authorities said.
An employee at the prison reported the crash at 4:48 p.m., said Mark Zieman, shift supervisor for Butler County Communications, which dispatches for the sheriff's department and other agencies in the county.
The name of the victim was not immediately available.
