KANSAS CITY, KAN. Four teenagers were charged Monday in juvenile court with the stabbing death of a delivery driver for a Chinese restaurant.
Wyandotte County prosecutors identified the teens as Benjamin McReynolds, 17, Brandon Johnson, 15, Benjamin McReynolds, 15, and Cortez Ennis, 14, all of Kansas City, Kan. Each faces one count of first-degree murder, one count of aggravated robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.
The teens are accused of killing Zhihai Cui, 42, on Friday when he went to deliver food to a vacant house in Kansas City, Kan. Cui was described as a quiet man who arrived in the United States within the past couple of months.
The teens are being held in a juvenile center. They were to have detention hearings Tuesday afternoon.
