Reserve units to be honored today

— The U.S. Army Reserve will honor more than 75 soldiers for their service in Iraq and Afghanistan during a ceremony today in Manhattan.

The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. at Eisenhower Middle School, 800 Waters Drive. The soldiers are assigned to the following units based in Manhattan:

¢ 330th Transportation Detachment.

¢ 339th Transportation Detachment.

¢ 378th Transportation Detachment.

¢ 450th Transportation Detachment.

¢ 482nd Engineers (firefighters).

¢ 531st Transportation Detachment.

¢ 535th Transportation Detachment.

¢ 541st Transportation Detachment.

¢ 607th Transportation Detachment.

The ceremony is intended to recognize the soldiers and their families for their sacrifices during the time of active duty. A special award package will be given to the soldiers.
