Douglas County Commissioners approved a contract Monday worth more than $52,000 with Overland Park-based BV Solutions Group.

The company will help enact a document-imaging and management system for all county departments. An imaging and management system can mean faster retrieval of documents, better indexing and no lost files.

Commissioners agreed to pay BV Solutions $52,875 plus travel expenses, which are estimated at $1,300.

BV Solutions will analyze each department’s document imaging needs; develop a plan to enact a document-imaging and management solution; and evaluate proposals submitted for the document-imaging system.
