Reception welcomes Kansas veterans in D.C.
Kansas veterans visiting Washington, D.C., during the World War II Memorial dedication Saturday can attend a reception sponsored by the state’s congressional delegation.
The reception will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at the U.S. Department of Agriculture Building, 1400 Independence Ave. The memorial will be dedicated at 2 p.m.
Those who plan to attend the reception should RSVP with their congressman or senator.
