Election results won’t become final until Douglas County commissioners serving as the Board of Canvassers review provisional and otherwise-contested ballots Friday morning.

And they could be there a while.

“We’ve got a lot of ’em,” said Patty Jaimes, wrapping up counting shortly before midnight Tuesday.

The board is scheduled to meet at 9 a.m. at the Douglas County Courthouse, 1100 Mass.
