Letter to the editor: Outdoor dining areas unsightly

To the editor:

This has been bothersome to me since the spring/summer of 2020. Blame it on the COVID-19 pandemic, but the extended dining space into Massachusetts Street from Seventh to 11th streets is absolutely ugly with the different decorating of the dining areas. If a more uniform marking would have been required, it might have helped the looks of the extended dining space. But Massachusetts Street looks ugly now.
