A man was taken to the hospital early Monday morning after another man is alleged to have slashed his arm with a knife, according to Lawrence police.

Officers responded to a disturbance around 3:15 a.m. to 3250 Michigan St., where a 56-year-old man reported that a 46-year-old man had cut his arm with a knife, according to a release from the Lawrence Police Department.

The injured man’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, the release said. Police were not able to locate the suspect but are working to track him down.

Police have asked for the public’s help locating Rashidi “Rocky” McClelland, who they believe is connected to the incident.
