The three candidates for Douglas County sheriff will participate in an online forum hosted by the Lawrence Board of Realtors Thursday afternoon.
Lt. Jay Armbrister, Deputy Dale Flory and Capt. Doug Woods, all longtime employees of the sheriff’s office, have all filed as Democrats.
The forum is set to begin at 4 p.m. Thursday. A livestream will be available at lawrencerealtor.com/candidateforums.
The primary election is Aug. 4. No Republicans have filed, so the next sheriff will most likely be selected in the primary.
