CIty Commissioners Lisa Larsen and Stuart Boley shake hands on election night Tuesday as state Rep. Mike Amyx, a former commissioner, looks on. Larsen held a commanding lead Tuesday, while Boley appeared to have fallen out of the top three positions, making way for two newcomers.

With 100% of precincts reporting in Douglas County, it appeared — unofficially — Tuesday that two incumbents on the Lawrence City Commission and the Lawrence school board had lost to two newcomers.

In the City Commission race, incumbent Lisa Larsen, who has been on the commission since 2015, held a commanding lead, followed by newcomers Bart Littlejohn and Amber Sellers. Incumbent Stuart Boley, who has served on the commission since 2015, was in fourth place. Only three candidates will be seated. Bringing up the rear were Ma’Ko’Quah Jones and Milton Scott in fifth and sixth place respectively.
