Showers to move in Friday
You don’t have to worry about rain tonight — only overcast skies are expected this evening in Lawrence. But on Friday, showers will be moving in, says Matt Sayers, 6News meteorologist.
“It will be cloudy tonight, with a low of 41,” Sayers said. “A few showers are possible throughout the day Friday. … You might hear a rumble of thunder, but that’s about it.”

Weather radarFriday will be cool, with a high reaching only 48 by late Friday afternoon, he said. And it will get even colder, he said.
On Friday night, skies will clear out and the temperature will drop down to a low of 32 degrees by early Saturday morning, he said.
“So it will be right around the freezing point,” he said.
But Saturday afternoon will be much warmer, with the high climbing to 64 degrees, he said.
