Tuesday’s top stories, how to watch today’s total lunar eclipse, a corn dog thief and goal celebration video

We’ve made it halfway through the work week! I’m already making weekend plans that include another soccer game and a trip to theater in the park. Do you have anything fun planned?

Last night’s USMNT game was a blast. It was nice to hang out with friends and visit the new stadium again. I posted a few pics and a decent video of Jozy Altidore’s goal (taken by my friend Zach) below.

There is a total lunar eclipse today, but it won’t be visible in the U.S. The main show will happen in the skies over parts of South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.

Thanks to technology, you can watch it anyway. The Skywatchers Association of Northern Bengal (say that five times fast) will live stream the unusually long eclipse here.

The lunar eclipse will begin at 12:24 p.m. CDT and last until 6 p.m. CDT, with the peak happening at 3:12 p.m. CDT.

Many of you know how much I love corn dogs. This is why the story Trail Of Corn Dogs Leads To Burglary Arrest from COCO in Oklahoma City piqued my interest. Thanks to fellow corn dog lover Justin for the tip.

And now soccer video and pics:
