Couldn't agree more with some of these posts. I'm a conservative, and disagree with a lot of liberal thinking, but I have never believed that many politicians have any interest in "issues" outside of their next reelection campaign.

I'll always respect vocal liberals because they are not indifferent. They are concerned about our country as much as I am. I'll take someone who cares about where this country is going but has a different idea than mine of how to get there, over a politician who is just looking to line their pockets and play at power games.

I as well watched it for the first few minutes and then switched over to 'Storage Wars'. It was more informative.

I hate politics.

And, I used to actually go over there and try to be involved. Used to. I used to think that crap mattered.

I mean what a bunch of buffoons. I hate the flipping the process. The ones that are supposed to support my interests only know me when it is time to get money. The lobbyists that say they are representing me only know my name when they want money. They do not want my input or anything else. Just money.

In 2011, a major bill went before the legislature affecting what I do. Our lobbyist rolled over and cut a flipping deal that is total crap. No one listened to me and they had their inner circle. My input was only donations of money.

I regret giving one penny to these guys. I called one of the Senators asked what was going on or why such a stupid deal was going down when it could have been fought in the moderate Senate. She ignored me and only told me the “train had left the station.”

Well now these clowns are calling me again for money. Four different sources in the last 10 days have called asking for money. The ralley call right now is to “save the moderate Senate.” Well, the train has left the station and my check book is on it.

Anyway, you are flipping idiot if you think politicians care about all the goofy issues that morons blog about and post about and ramble about. I am here to tell you that if being a flaming liberal got him into the Whitehouse that Sam Brownback would be a flaming liberal. These SOBs do not care about causes as much you might think. They have causes, but their causes are less important than getting elected and keeping a hand full of people that control interest groups happy is how they think they stay elected.

So, far, I have not figured out how to work myself into that circle. I am not sure I want to be in that circle.

I am sure I will give money again because I hate conservatives and I hate them more than the above.

But, the whole flipping process is a joke.

So, to answer the question, no, I did not waste one flipping second watching the debate
