Working every labor day celebrates Labor Day and leaves less to do the following day which is also a labor day.
Let's get congress to declare 3 weeks a year national vacation weeks. One in the spring,fall and winter with pay. For each of these weeks just about everything shuts down like Christmas day.
People relax and take it easy. We learn to get along with a few less opportunities to shop till we drop which kills that mentality. Credit card debt shrinks and we see more people smiling.

I may travel during it but I doubt I'll travel over it.
