Only those who want to deny representation representing the views of the community believe in gerrymandering.
They don't believe in equal representation. They believe in party over a true Republic. They hate our Constitution and the framework our founding fathers created.
The above two posters prove this point.

Not all of Lawrence is as liberal as East Lawrence. Everyone I know in West Lawrence is pretty conservative and share values pretty true to more of a Topeka (west) conservatism as apposed to the bluest area of almost all the midwest being with the more moderate KC district.
Gerrymandering would be any map that made it at all possible ofor a blue district. You would have to pick and choose Douglas and Wyandotte and certain areas around KC to be able to get a blue district.
