I'm a Repub; but rapidly becoming a RINO due in-part to robo-calls from Lynn Jenkins as well as that scary, scratchy Griz.
those robo-calls from jenkins make me willing to vote for anyone but her...
Her creepy joker smile makes me want to vote for anyone but her.
She can't help it. Being the descendant of aliens from the totalitarian planet Zorkon, she was born with twice as many teeth as the rest of us.
I hang up on robo-calls, so I haven't heard any of 'em.
So many of the Republican candidates this year were just plain not acceptable, I voted a straight Democratic ticket for the first time in my life, 'though I did vote for Sandy Praeger, who was unopposed. She is also the only Republican on my ballot who has been making a lick of sense.
The Republican party seems to have become dominated by a collection of religious right nuts.
And I'm a Republican! Ron Paul style, but still Republican.
Yes, anyone but Jenkins. She's offered nothing but obstruction and criticism. At some point you have to offer real solutions, not just rhetoric. Complete with math that WORKS.
There was one race where I couldn't decide between two candidates. One robo-called me twice and I decided they were who I was NOT going to vote for.
Also, I am curious who doesn't know? I'll help ya out - that Sarah Palin call you received wasn't actually her calling you :)
Shut up about the library!
I don't know.... don't answer the phone.
Does a bear. . . .?
Seriously - who listens to that stuff? I hang up as soon as I hear the recording start. What a waste of time, money, and effort.
No but I received several emails from Steve Six and repeatedly told them to stop. They didn't until I called the office and chewed them out.
Agree! I gave $25 to Obama's campaign 2 years ago and now I get every kind of email from every Democrat in Kansas, including the children of some candidates! GEEZ!!
I have gotten 4 since Sunday...2 on Sunday, 1 Monday, and 1 today...all from Kevin Yoder...4 in 3 days is a bit much...especially 2 on Sunday...telemarketers can't call on sundays...why can robo-calls from political canditates can?
Got my robo call from Kobach. Called my cell phone and a dailed the number back. Whoever answered said Kobach election headquarters. Either an impersonator or was his headquarters.
Robo calls for the robots. Watch them line up like mindless robots to vote for the RINOs, even though the RINOs promise to take all the money these poor suckers paid into Social Security & Medicare and use it to prop up the Stock Market before the Wall Street insiders milk the system again and steal more of our retirement funds like they did in 2008..
Nothing is wrong with Kansas voters. We just want to be left alone and not bothered every night during dinner, or during our family time with the kids.
I erase the voicemails as soon as I hear it's a robot. But I received 6 robo calls regarding the election this year. 4 at work and 2 on my cell phone. I will be so excited to get up in the morning, watch the news and hopefully not have to watch another political ad. If I didn't have a new TV, I would've thrown a shoe or the remote at all the ads I saw this election.
They have to spend all that money somewhere! I can't help but think it would do well going
toward the debt they are so worried about. I hope whoever wins brings a mop, broom &
dustpan because these 2 yrs are just the start of the needed cleanup of the mess we inherited in '08.
We screen (caller i.d.) all calls and ignore those we think might be pitches. If we've received robos, the callers haven't left vmms. When we have received robo calls in previous election cycles, I hang up.
Since I want to vote for those that call me at home, I wrote in robo cop.
We only have cell phone numbers, so we don't get sampled.
Ditto! Even if it's Richard Nixon from the grave.
I was soooooo excited to have Pat Boone call me!!!! And then Pat Roberts called to tell me that Pat Boone had called me! Little ole me!!
(Jeez...I didn't even like Pat Boone back in the dark ages when he and I were both young.)
