No. The last thing we need is some super-secret government lab dumping who knows what into our rivers.

Absolutely Yes!!!. Both my wife and I would probably apply there. Lawrence, and the general metro KC are need more professional jobs and this would provide some. Just because they don't give jobs to HS grads does not mean we should shun them. The lab would provide some very secure jobs....not to mention good training opportunities for KU science students.

Absolutely NO!! What a waste. This business would not generate that many jobs for the average Joe. We need more businesses in here that offer employment to a variety of levels not just professional or college trained level employment. Yes we have a lot of college kids but they can get short term jobs in restaurants, etc. We need jobs a family person can take on for long term employment. Spend the money on repaving some of the roads around town - especially in East Lawrence - pothole city.
