Kevin McLemore, a 6-foot senior guard from St. Louis’ Normandy High and brother of Ben McLemore, will not be attending Kansas University next year, his AAU coach, Darius Cobb, said Thursday.

Cobb, who also is a close family friend and mentor to Ben and Kevin, indicated there had been some confusion over Twitter posts and reposts on Thursday that indicated Kevin would be attending KU.

“We are in the process of finding the best junior college or prep school we can for Kevin,” said Cobb, coach of the St. Louis Majestics’ AAU team.
