The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office conducted both a saturation patrol and DUI check lane operation on Saturday.

The saturation patrol, countywide between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m., stopped 52 vehicles and resulted in:

• 37 tickets for no seat belt.

• 16 speeding tickets.

• One arrest for an outstanding warrant.

• One arrest for DUI.

During the DUI check lane, conducted between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 a.m. Sunday, in the 700 block of East 23rd Street, deputies made contact with 548 vehicles, resulting in:

• 32 drivers given field sobriety tests.

• Five of those resulted in a DUI arrest.
