Coming off a thrilling overtime victory in a regional title game at Manhattan on Thursday, Lawrence High’s boys soccer team will meet one of its Sunflower League foes in the Class 6A state quarterfinals.

The Lions (12-5-1) will have a rematch against Shawnee Mission East (15-3) at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Shawnee Mission Soccer Complex.

LHS lost at SME, 6-1, on Sept. 20. Since then, the Lions have won seven of their last 10 games, including a 2-1 overtime victory in a regional final Tuesday at Manhattan.
