Burglary reported in 2500 of West 31st Street on Monday

A resident in the 2500 block of West 31st Street reported someone burglarized their apartment sometime between noon and 6 p.m. Monday while the resident was at work.

Lawrence Police Sgt. Trent McKinley said numerous items, such as a sound system, flat-screen television and other electronics, were taken. The resident said they locked the apartment, but there were no signs of forced entry. No suspect has been identified, McKinley said.
