Two Lawrence men were arrested early Thursday morning on charges of aggravated burglary after a reported incident in the 3100 block of Ousdahl Road.

Lawrence Police Sgt. Trent McKinley said police were called to a home in the area about 3 a.m. A person reported having left the residence for a short time, and when the person returned, a laptop was missing. The person who reported the crime spotted someone he recognized in the area after the alleged crime and led police to that person’s residence. Police interviewed two men and determined the men were responsible for the crime, McKinley said.

One of the men, a 33-year-old Lawrence man, was booked on charges of aggravated burglary and possession of stolen property, while the other, a 43-year-old Lawrence man, was booked on charges of aggravated burglary and theft. Bond has not yet been set.
