Douglas County prosecutors have charged a 38-year-old Lawrence man with robbery and theft related to a Feb. 29 incident at a Lawrence apartment.
According to jail records, prosecutors have filed the two counts against Gary Delond Perkins. According to a police report for robbery made at the time, a 35-year-old Lawrence woman reported her 46-inch Sony television, $46, 100 DVDs and two phones were stolen. The alleged robbery occurred at an apartment in the 4600 block of West Sixth Street.
Perkins was served with the warrant Friday morning as he was in custody on a separate case. His bond is listed at $15,000.

Sounds more like a couple split up and property ownership was in dispute.

i think gary needs to be in jail for a very long time due to he took advantage of a handicap woman i know both of them and its not cool of him to do that sort of thing
