The Lawrence Police Department released the name of a 7-year-old child involved in a bicycle-car accident on Friday. The child, Trevon Swearinger, was struck by a car shortly after 5:40 p.m. Friday while he was riding a bicycle near the intersection of Harvard and Centennial roads. Updates on the child’s condition were not available on Monday night.
