A 19-year-old Lawrence woman was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital by ground ambulance after she lost control of her motorcycle in a single-vehicle accident Thursday night. Sgt. Troy Squire said the accident happened at Clinton Parkway and Lake Pointe Drive about 7:45 p.m. The driver’s injuries were thought to be nonlife-threatening.
