A 32-year-old Lawrence woman was arrested on DUI and other charges early Wednesday morning after her vehicle struck a parked car and eventually rolled onto its side in the 1200 block of New Jersey Street, said Sgt. Trent McKinley, a Lawrence police spokesman.

McKinley said the woman just after midnight in her 2001 Nissan Xterra struck a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta, but the collision caused her vehicle to land on its side. The driver, Sarah Browning, suffered minor injuries, and she was arrested on charges of DUI, possession of marijuana, an expired tag, driving left of the center line, possession of another person’s prescription medication and inattentive driving, McKinley said.

Browning was released on $1,750 bond and was given notice to appear in court May 30.
