Three finalists for Kansas University’s vice provost for student affairs position will have open forums scheduled for the next week.

The position serves the university’s senior student officer and oversees several units and programs, including student housing, student health services and recreation services, among others.

Tammara Durham, who is serving as interim vice provost, joins two other candidates from other universities. Durham previously worked as the director of the University Advising Center.

The two other candidates are George McClellan, vice chancellor for student affairs at Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne, and Beth Hellwig, vice chancellor of student affairs and dean of students at the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire.

The candidates will be hosting public forums in the coming days, and more details are available on the provost’s website at http://www.provost.ku.edu/search/vpsa.shtml.
