Someone burglarized an apartment Friday night at Jayhawker Towers and stole $3,305 worth of items, including laptop computers and other electronics, said assistant Kansas University police chief Chris Keary.
A suspect entered a locked room in Tower C. The burglaries occurred between 9 p.m. and midnight Friday. Keary said residents of the apartment had left to watch KU’s first-round NCAA Tournament game against Detroit. They discovered the burglary when they returned.
