Lawrence police cited a 37-year-old Shawnee man with a notice for battery, criminal damage to property, reckless driving and driving with a suspended license after attacking another driver. Lawrence Police Sgt. Craig Shanks said the altercation began on Kansas Highway 10 shortly before 7:30 p.m. The drivers became angry with each other and both pulled into a Lawrence parking lot near in the 1800 block of West 23rd Street. The Shawnee man then attacked a 25-year-old Olathe man and damaged his vehicle before police responded at 7:27 p.m.
