Ottawa police arrested a 24-year-old Ottawa woman in the 100 block of West Third Street at 8:30 p.m. Monday on an aggravated battery charge after she was accused of striking someone in the head with a blunt object.
The victim was treated for a laceration to the head and later released from Ransom Memorial Hospital. A 20-year-old Ottawa woman also was arrested for battery and accused of striking the same victim with her hand. The victim knew the two suspects.
