Two people arrested after being found on roof of Lippincott Hall

Kansas University police took two people to jail and cited two others for criminal trespassing after officers found four people early Saturday on the roof of Lippincott Hall, 1410 Jayhawk Blvd.

Maj. Chris Keary, assistant KU police chief, said the suspects had squeezed around gates meant to keep people from getting on the roof of the building. Keary said two of the suspects cooperated with police and received citations to appear in Lawrence Municipal Court, but officers had to go onto the roof to arrest two Lawrence women who were not obeying them.

According to Douglas County Jail records, the two women were identified as Jamie Nicole McCall, 34, and Erika Cecile Greszler, 29. Both women posted $100 cash bond. They are scheduled to appear in court June 26.
