A Leavenworth man who was delivering newspapers Saturday morning near Tonganoxie reported to the Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office that two men in a red full-size F-150 extended cab truck deliberately ran his vehicle off the road while he was traveling north on 199th Street just north of Parallel Road. The victim’s vehicle struck a mailbox that caused more than $1,000 in damage. The incident is listed as an aggravated assault investigation.
