Two Lions given scholarship money

Lawrence High football seniors Anthony Buffalomeat and Anthony Rosen both recently received scholarship money for college.

The Greater Kansas City Coaches Association handed out a $1,000 scholarship to each of the Lions for excelling in the classroom and on the gridiron. Both players have a GPA above 3.5.

Buffalomeat signed to play at Emporia State University and Rosen signed with Pittsburg State.
