Overland Park ? Lawrence High’s girls basketball team lost its fourth straight game Monday night, 62-29 at Shawnee Mission South.

Lawrence was out-scored 38-11 in the first half before scoring one point in the third quarter.

“All we can do is try to get better,” coach Nick Wood said. “We’ll get better.”

Mutiyat Hameed scored 12 points, followed by Kionna Coleman with 11.

Lawrence (6-11) travels to Olathe East on Friday for a 5:30 p.m. tipoff.
