KU moves up to No. 7 in AP, drops to No. 10 in coaches poll
Kansas forward Thomas Robinson is hounded by the Missouri defense during the first half on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at Mizzou Arena.
The Kansas men’s basketball team moved up a spot to seventh in the Associated Press coaches poll, while falling two spots to 10th in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll.
Last week, KU defeated Oklahoma, 84-62, at home Wednesday before losing, 74-71, at Missouri on Saturday.
KU once again was one of three Big 12 teams in the top 10. Missouri (fourth AP/fourth coaches) and Baylor (sixth/sixth) were the other conference teams that made the rankings.
The top five in both polls was the same, as Kentucky was followed by Syracuse, Ohio State, Missouri and North Carolina.
