A 48-year-old Wellsville man was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday morning, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Charles H. Hale was riding his 2001 Harley-Davidson motorcycle south on Vermont Road near Thomas Road in Wellsville when he lost control of the motorcycle.

Hale died at the scene.
